Shumpert takes some practice shots; says he's feeling better

Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert hit the court today for a practice shooting session with JR Smith. Shumpert tweeted about this earlier today and also tweeted to a fan that he is feeling better every day. Shumpert has been sidelined for the past week with patella tendinitis which he suffered during last Sunday's game against the Mavericks. The Knicks have missed Shumpert's defensive play especially against the Nets earlier this week when Deron Williams scored 38 points on the Knick guards. The rookie has been a defensive star this season despite injury problems. Shumpert was also planning on participating in the dunk contest but was scratched from the line up following this injury. Shumpert may return following All-Star weekend against Cleveland on Wednesday.
