Playoff Picture: Bucks win, cut Knicks' lead to two games

The Milwaukee Bucks easily cruised past the Washington Wizards in a win Monday night to improve their record to 25-28. They now trail the Knicks (27-26) by only two games.

This is bad news for the Knicks who face a difficult stretch over the next eight days. They face the Pacers and Magic, and then have to play the Bulls twice in three days. All three teams are currently set to make the playoffs and the Bulls have already clinched a playoff berth. The stretch then ends with a crucial game against the Bucks next Wednesday, which may turn out to be the most important game.

The Knicks schedule doesn't get much easier after these eight days with Boston, Miami, Atlanta, and the Clippers still left on the Knicks' docket. Making the playoffs is going to be even tougher for the team with both Jeremy Lin and Amare Stoudemire out of the line-up due to injury.
